Golden specialises in acrylic colours and mediums including Heavy Body Acrylics, OPEN slow drying acrylics, SoFlat Matte Acrylics and Fluid Acrylics. Founded in 1980 by Sam Golden, who had retired from a long career running Bocour Artist Colors in New York, suppliers to the likes of Rothko, de Kooning and Pollock and maker of early forms of acrylic colour the brand introduces both new products and new colours to existing brands on a regular basis.
